Lynne Graziadei
Member Services Librarian
A frequent trainer at Nylink, Lynne is also a popular presenter at state and regional conferences and meetings of NYLA, SUNYLA, Association of Law Librarians of Upstate NY, Association of Jewish Libraries, WALDO Technical Services Committee, ARLIS/NY and many of New York’s regional library councils. In addition, Lynne has been a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Albany’s School of Information Science and Policy, teaching Online Cataloging.
Prior to joining the Network staff in 1993, Lynne worked as Head of Cataloging at Solano County Public Library (Fairfield, CA) and as Rare Book Cataloger both at the University of Tulsa (Tulsa, OK) and at the University of Texas - Austin, Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center.
Professional interests: rare book cataloging, history of printing and typography, building the next generation catalog (open source or otherwise), and the many flavors of metadata.
Personal interests: needlework, reading, music, children (six) and grandchildren (three).
