Joyce Rambo
Reference and Digital Collections Librarian
Joyce Rambo provides training and primary support for OCLC FirstSearch and CONTENTdm Digital Management software and is a part of the OCLC Core services team. Joyce writes regularly for Nylink publications and delivers presentations on topics of interest to OCLC reference and digitization service subscribers.
Joyce joins Nylink from the New York State Library, where she conducted reference and research and collection development and also wrote and coordinated web bibliographies for the Research Library's web site. She was also a member of the team that launched EmpireLink, now the New York Online Virtual Electronic Library (NOVEL). She provided support to libraries on the EmpireLink help desk and maintained the project's web site.
Joyce received her M.L.S. in 1998 from the Pratt Institute. Prior to her library career, Joyce was research editor for Family Circle and Mademoiselle magazines.
