Boosting Productivity with the Connexion Client
This workshop covers some of the more advanced features available in the Connexion Client interface to the OCLC Cataloging service. Topics to be covered include:
- Writing and recording basic macros.
- Creating and applying text strings.
- Creating and applying constant data (locally and online).
- Customizing the keyboard and the toolbar.
- Searching tips and tricks.
- Making the most of batch workflows.
- Importing MARC records.
Who Should Attend: Anyone currently using the Connexion client who wishes to expand their knowledge of the interface beyond the basics.
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of OCLC cataloging functions and the Connexion Browser Interface.
