Finding a moment of peace and calm…

Or at least trying to! The planning committee has been diligently working on the upcoming Zen and the Art of Local Holdings Maintenance Summit taking place on June 17 in Saratoga Springs. We’ve had several meetings over the past few months and have created a strong and vibrant program. The morning will consist of speakers discussing a variety of issues including tips for maintaining your local holdings records through OCLC batch processing and perspectives about projects and processes supporting the presentation of serial holdings. Speakers include Myrtle Myers, Lauren Pinsley, Natalie Sturr and Jeff Sohn. After a yummy lunch we will have the opportunity to banter with our colleagues at roundtable discussions. The topics of these roundtables will be decided by the attendees. The idea being that these discussions will be most relevant if the participants bring the issues to the table. We expect there will be some stimulating conversations!
