Empire State Book Festival! April 9th and 10th, Empire Plaza

The New York Library Association (NYLA) will hold the first
annual Empire State Book Festival—a celebration of writers, books, and
literacy—April 9-10, 2010 in Albany, New York. This family-friendly
educational event features author talks, panel discussions and workshops,
storytime for children and the opportunity for attendees to purchase books by their favorite New York authors.


Friday, April 9 | 7 pm – 10 pm

Writer’s Hall of Fame Dinner Gala, Crowne Plaza, Albany
A showcase of New York State writers—past and present—and induction
of the first honorees into the Writer’s Hall of Fame.
